Position Summary (Roles & Responsibilities):
- Participate in internal and customer workshops, understand requirements/problems coming from internal teams and customer business and propose solutions.
- Present OOB capabilities of Netcracker product to customer, explain how customer requirements can be met using OOB capabilities, capture and document requirements.
- Deliver documents containing end-to-end high-level functional requirements and low-level designs for OSS modules.
- Configure Netcracker product as per customer requirements, which includes creating BPMN-like flows and business logic.
- Conduct review of customer documentation including business requirements and high-level test cases; support customer testing in various stages of the project life cycle.
- Validate configuration in the product and assist development/QA team members in understanding the solution and related build/QA activities.
- Assess and make appropriate and timely technical/people decisions.
- Be customer focused, constantly explore to conceptualize and understand customer needs, and proactively propose solutions.
- Participate in mentoring fellow team members.
Experience & Requirements:
- Must have:
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Design documents preparation experience with relevant toolset: BPMN (i.e. Signavia), UML (i.e. UML Designer, Visio, Draw.io, etc)
- Enterprise collaboration tools experience, i.e. Jira
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good to have:
- Understanding of telecom service catalog and OSS service provisioning/fulfillment processes; Order management/Order processing
- Understanding of REST API’s. Experience on TMF Open APIs especially TMF622, TMF641, TMF637. Knowledge of Postman, Swagger or other API testing tools
- Understanding of any of Resource Inventory, Activations, Integrations, Discovery & Reconciliation modules.
- Understanding of telecom technologies like access network, mobile network (HLR/HSS; 3G/4G/5G).
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Strong BA background, preferably in an internet/software development company.
- Understanding of software development best practices and standards used in project lifecycles.
- Experience of working at customer locations
