About the Role

KPMG Kazakhstan is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineering Manager to join our team on a project basis. In this role, you will provide cloud migration and optimization services to our clients, helping them transition to and maximize the benefits of cloud technologies. You will work closely with client teams to assess, design, and implement cloud solutions that enhance efficiency, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead cloud migration and transformation projects for KPMG clients.
• Assess existing IT infrastructures and develop cloud adoption strategies.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in cloud environments.
• Automate cloud deployment and management using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Provide guidance on DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business stakeholders.

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, or DevOps.
• Proven track record of leading cloud migration projects in a consulting or enterprise environment.
• Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Russian/Kazakh is a plus.
• Сertifications (AWS, DRCS, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Professional, ITIL 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support) are highly desirable.
